I was laid off from my job and offered a position in ABO. ABO is call center work where you service P&C policies. You will be a band 2 employee and take back to back calls unless you get a 220 license, at which point you can be offered a band 3 position. It’s hard work, and the turn-over is high. You are tied to a phone and micromanaged more
than I’ve ever been in my life. It’s like a sweatshop, and they constantly tell you how great Allstate is. Good luck...
I'm sure we in IT/engineering will be hit. What's shocking is the total lack of transparency, the silence is deafening. Mind you we were told assessments starting August 4th. No assessments and no explanation.
What's ABO ( other than agent's "Agency Business Objectives" ie QUOTAS ?
