IPS stands for Integrated Publishing System. It's leftover from the Thomson days. Basically it's a Windows 3.1 looking front end for an outdated and quirky system and working in it bogs down countless employees on a daily basis.
Re the You Tube link: That one handed soup guy just posted a p–n You Tube link about women’s private parts. I’m beginning to wonder if he does this to force The Layoff to remove entire threads, including legitimate discussions. Maybe he’s actually trying to destroy The Layoff, not Cengage. Or he’s just a creepy Incel.
I’m in Texas... so what?
People should be less concerned about where others are located and more concerned with applying our credo and ethos to their responsibilities.
It is suggested that employees keep a file on their desktop and add to it when they have successfully used the credo to solve a business or personal file. When your performance review comes due this file will prove to be important in documenting how the ethos has shaped you during the quarter.
What does IPS stand for?
I’m the CEO.
Good luck getting folks to self-identify after the continued threats on this site purported to be from Cengage. You might want to reconsider identifying yourself but it seems to be too late. Yikes. IPS will turn up...now!
