Volume and revenue is very important for a retail store!That's what keeps the location open and people employed! That's why the expanded time in September. There is a correlation and equation on time and sales! Thats why retail stores have been open for so many hours from years gone by . You can't make a profit if you're closed because the buyer is coming to you thru the open door. Regarding Ris it became a heavily weighted metric when the CEO stated the our brand Verizon should be the go to service for the publics wireless needs.The brand has been falling in prestige and customer loyalty for quite a time and he wanted a to stem this public belief. Thats why the survey is so weighted and its. Combined with gross adds and revenue (pull thru and add ons) So to ramp up volume = Sales and revenue. They've done this because they want BAU with the pandemic not even in the equation! They feel team commission will get the stores back on track again. Its not individuals commission they care about thats why they have changed it many times over the years(usually making the goals and numbers harder to overachieve for most) So yes September is a good place to get this team concept rolling out . So when the remaining reps buy into this culture the next will be to eliminate all commission. So not trying to prove you wrong ! Just trying too look at the big picture. I could write a book on the hypocrisy of this company on the backs of safety for the front line employees.

My DM just gave us the whole spew that it was largely due to money...company is loosing too much revenue and the port outs are high on Sundays

@htj+16yETAnm Ok so September is not a guarantee of the new at risk however that’s only like 300-400 difference in what our guarantee monthly going forward is. The way the new commission plan is structured it’s impossible to make less then 500 no matter what. RIS basically controls the payout because new lines and sales dollars matter very little. Prove me wrong.

So how can you team sell with with 2 reps opening and maybe 3 closing at 8 with people waiting outside in the dark? ( thats not happening) they will be inside waiting) Here comes the names in the queue ( bad surveys wait times) you just need 4 o5 customers showing up at opening or closing and its old times again before covid! Whats the fascination with corporate stores? Yes its going above and beyond and if the customer whines a little we will troubleshoot their perceived problem when 5 minutes ago they had it pressed to their face, content transfers( they refuse to do it)
No communication about tech coach or unbreakwefix locations, billing problems, personal social media and password issues, open FedEx box syndrome from activation to content and on and on with less people working. The front line been played big time and this constant getting a 10 on a survey beat down every day so whats changed nothing and the pandemic continues and the resellers (if its not a sale) sending the problems to go to the corporate stores What a mess! The timing is very transparent because in September the *Team selling * theory becomes live and the guarantee commissions go away.. So they cannot achieve the huge quota and revenue with a smaller headcount by being open from 10 to 6 Monday thru Saturday and closed Sunday. This means 2 shifts a day 2 days off and 11 to 5 sundays?( no easy task with more part timers and less headcount for the schedule) so in the last week I've seen the 1 to 1 rep sign come down to an ambiguous sign saying the capacity is contigent to amount of reps working that day? The Sms not at the door anymore (back to delegating every thing)the sign at the door stating to wait to enter the store not looked at by customer so by mid month it will be gone)thus many times a day too much overcrowding)Lastly, the constant emphasis on team selling. I haven't seen it done once at my location but the GM in the back looking at individual kpis? In my state Indoor dining is still forbidden but the Verizon stores most a smaller in size are all open with overcrowding everyday?I know the stores have to profitable but making a360 degree turn from safety back to micromanaging culture is so transparent and will cause negative morale problems with a high turn over rate? Just because my store was deemed it had adequate headcount no severence was offered so at this point I would consider the 35 week severence. It should be 3 weeks for every year for reps with 10 years plus on the job! Most at this point would jump.⁰

Bummer should call all the directors and above every 10 - 15 min and ask how the couch is. Not just on Sunday either. Just an everyday thing call from the demo devices.
