The lay offs have been on going and started with stores but they didn't stop there! Many of the corporate office employees were laid off and all the customer contact call centers closed. Those employees were laid off as well. The call centers were outsourced out of the United States to the Philippines! Very little of the later was released to the public by the company. Mostly, due to legalities very few employees have spoken out or shared with social media.

MT is not American so he gives two sh*ts about keeping jobs in the US.
No a–hole, the people complaining about outsourcing are the people suffering because of it.
So they laid off people in the US and then found people in another country to do the work for less money? Sounds like a good decision. In case you haven’t been reading the newspaper for the last 20 years this has been a big trend in corporate America. The people who complain about these decisions have been living under a rock some place.
You may want to do a Google search. Lots of coverage about all the lay off and outsourcing. 🤡
