Glad I was able to get out of there with my severance pay and also my PTO. I am hearing that people aren't getting any of that now and if you are still furloughed, you will no longer get be able to accumulate PTO. That ship is sinking and if you can, leave them as soon as possible to avoid the let down. Good luck to you all.
they keep you on furlough hoping you will get desperate and look for another job and not come back then they do not have to pay you anything thus it is like you quit .and it goes on your job record with the state that you quit.
yes they do not care on temporary layoff for 6 months with nothing from them. 3days after 6months letter say your permanently laid off .termination of employment. what a waste of 30 years not even a thankyou for your services no severance only my personel pension that could be touched only at age 65years other wise heavly taxed. only got from them what they are obliged by law . if your laid off/maybe its time to look for a better place to work unless you are part of mangment and hope your number is not up from what i heard call backs are very few due to no work but the mangers seem to be still there? for now as long as they keep working and not speaking up. with the virus picking up speed again how long will they last. good luck on your future job hunt and please stay safe and well.
Yeah avis doesn't care about it ppl. Def looking for new job
35yrs. only wat is required by law no severance with that in mind if i were you i would look for a better job and do not waste your years they do not seem to care about people too much just the what looks good on paper good luck with your future endeavours.

Don't work for Hertz!
This was such a great place to work. It’s so sad what’s happening. Is it the company? Is it the pandemic? Is it a combo? All I know is it’s sad! This country economy is going downhill and there is no way of saving it without jobs. If it’s retail it’s bad. All retail is bad. What do we do?
Sad thing they prob not bringing those ppl back
Is this a surprise? ABG is continuing its downward spiral. Spineless upper management and continued good ol boy network. RIP
