Appointments are being missed left and right, you can pretty much right your own check with all the OT. Business in my department seems to be booming/busy. We have a constant stream of loaners from other cities.
I love this company and the people i work with. Management and bargined alike. I've seen surpluses effect other cities in my decade with the company but its largely never hit home. We've had manager positions eliminated annually but bargined remains relatively untouched.
I (in my experience in AFO anyways) believe you can create your own job security within the company, have work ethic, grow the business, maintain/deliver the existing business.
