They have so much in place yet no not enough. The programs and reporting require constant oversight by those that understand the FULL process. Not those that understand snippets in the process chain. They need more more actual middle managers, strategist, analyst AND less Project Managers MDs and SVPs. They need full time STAFF not CONTRACT which is the new trend. There are not enough individuals that FULLY understand the work, its flow and THE ISSUES they are working on to fill.
If you have smart EDs and VPs you don't need so many MDs and SVPs, with access to top management, who pass through areas and positions (less than 2-3 years oversight). These are the same people who spin the message for management, The MESSAGE put together by those Middle Managers, EDs and VPs that work for them. Get rid of the mouth pieces and have those MIDDLE MANAGERS,EDs

Flatten the organization and put the right people in the jobs. Fire the do nothing TRIUST fund babies that are granted position because of ties to the organization whether personal or because of the bank balance. Those MDs and SVPs should go that call out employees as being insubordinate when they disagree with them on processes or reporting when they find cracks. Cracks cause rework and more money to be spent, and possibly their downfall. Seasoned employees know cracks in processes, programs can and do lead to bigger issues.

True, when it comes to layoff, they should start with senior managements. Only the small guys are doing the real work, but sr.managment don’t do anything but bossing people around.
