Colleagues, I wish you all the best today and in the future. Don’t know if this is “the call” but we’re all in the same situation. There’s really nothing we can do at this point but wait for our fate. We should all know this though, you were hired for your talents, skills and who you are as a person. Albeit difficult times, I know anyone who works claims is tough enough to survive this joke of a transformation.
Be strong friends. Don’t let these horrible decisions defeat you.

Yeah, they're just following orders.
To be fair @iqo, there has to be a process and letting everyone know ahead is just a courtesy. It’s a very large corporation.
For the record, I’m in the same train car as everyone else. I’m not spamming here, I’m not in corporate. Yes, the timing absolutely stinks, on all the levels you mentioned. We are all just an employee number with a cost attached to it.
All I’m saying is we shouldn’t put them down for informing us. There are PLENTY of other things to be mad about that they’ve done throughout this process.
So they expect us to continue to work hard while we have to wait another 3 - 4 days not knowing what our future is, and tell us to reach out to our leaders. Cool, except they don't know anything either. My leader was ALSO assessed and is in the same boat.
These people have such nerve. Layoffs during a pandemic to occur right around the holidays, while providing us nothing more than canned responses and faux concern.
Evil exists in the world and don't let anyone tell you differently.
This call was a waste. Just tell me when u are ready to.
