This happened on Dec. 17th, 2012, and now they're crying about it? It's a little late in the game. They should have come up with a strategy back then. Huge mistake.. The consequences of this mistake dwarf all of AT$T's more recent ridiculous and mind boggling costly misteps into the Entertainment business. Wireless is their core business yet they/randall/stankey fell asleep at the wheel while dreaming about Entertainment. Good luck trying to get out of debt now. The wireless price wars are on the horizon and they will sink this poorly managed Titanic fast. The dividend isn't going to keep this stock afloat for long. Not when it can't cover its mountain of debt.
