LAYOFF ON LEAVE?

Can Allstate lay you off while you are on leave? Like medical or short term?

Can you take a medical leave during your 60 days if you are laid off?

Yes. As long as it is a declared departmental RIF or layoff and not individually specific you can be laid off while on approved leave or even FMLA. Leaves and FMLA do not protect against department lay offs.
