How much confidence does everyone have about being able to find a new job with the same or higher salary before the end of the year.

I was concerned about some of my coworkers that were given notice and as it turns out they are doing OK, one had to turn down a job as they wanted him to start ASAP and he couldn't, I think 2 are still in searching, the rest have all accepted new positions and they are getting the same or more pay than Allstate. In fact a few have said I need to apply where they are going to work and get more pay.
Between little and none & little just walked out of the room.
Best of luck in a tough market.
Before the end of the year? Not confident.
Confident. Had a feeling that the layoff was coming and already started applying months ago outside. Looking good so far.
Not confident. With so many looking for work during a global pandemic the supply and demand of candidates is greater resulting in lower starting pay. Jobs that were $50,000 a year ago are starting at $40,000 and less. Happened in 2008 as well.
