- Major operations in Bulgaria, India, Malaysia, Philipines and Kansas will be absorbed by Accenture
- We will be buying business process outsourcing service from Accenture - everytime someone at ACN moves a piece of paper we get billed - granted, we'll be buying services in bulk so that paper move charge may be covered from a prepaid pile of services
- Empolyees will change badges
- Job descriptions will change
- Jobs will be streamlined, if you are in an ACN location you will be busy (all the time)
- ACN manages well, career paths will be clear, expectations will be documented and managed - pay will be around average
- Rebadged folks may be asked to do other things for ACN - e.g., if AIG workload dips, you may be working on things for other companies that ACN has service contract with - this keeps you busy and decreases likelihood of layoffs
- This will be a good opportunity for folks who are ready to accept change, ready to move on and use ACN to advance - there will be more work but it is very likely it'll be more organized, methodological and rewarding
I used to work for both ACN and AIG, I left AIG in February to join a much smaller operation in the same field.
All the best.
