All Managers and above were not furloughed from WDI Glendale. This is c-ap. Bob Weis are you reading this? Your people that decided who is essential and who is not kept all the Highest paid people! Doesn’t make sense. Bob weis bring the people back who actually work, not just give yearly performance reviews.

i know of several lower HR people that are still there and not needed, Not sure how they are making these decisions
Yep I just got axed today too! I think my Leader actually enjoys this. She has always been Satan, and didn’t disappoint today.
Layoffs are happening at WDI. I got the call from my leader and an HR rep today. Kind of a relief after over six months of silence.

I heard yesterday from a reliable source within WDI that layoffs will start the week of 9/28.
I am manager-level Glendale Imagineer, and I am furloughed. Quite a few of us were. At Imagineering the decision to furlough was not based on level as much as it was based on who was chummy with Bob Weis and his inner circle, and who was not.
This is how WDI does things: furlough everyone then hires new VP. Brilliant Bob Weis, just Brilliant.
I sadly have this gut feeling there will be layoffs. I hope folks are taking a hard look at other companies before jobs get snatched out. The longer this goes on, the harder it will be to justify bringing back everyone’s job
Not true. Executives were also furloughed!
Lots of managers with no one to manage sitting around doing nothing collecting big paychecks.
