2021 Engagement Survey

Whose ready to take this survey in March 2021?

I can’t imagine anything but disappointing results. Which in turn leads to more reorg rather than addressing the central issues.

Let me ask you reader, what would it take for you over the next 6 months to rate higher than if you took the survey today?

Would never take the survey since it seems an organizational mess. Did their board really allow this activity for so long they had to get an overpriced ceo to clean house? Giving executives bonuses during a reorg sounds a little like the 2009 bank bailout doesnt it? Since it sounds like there isnt a real plan then eliminating people randomly wont fix things. Sounds like a reaction to the current global environment versus real LT strategic growth plans. As mentioned by others if there hasn't been a plan for business in the last year, still isnt a plan don't expect a better in 6 months.

For the love of God, do not trust this survey and do not pour your heart out. It will not do any good at all. Nike, by far, has the most toxic company culture I have even seen.

Never fill out the surveys with your true honest feelings (if they are negative) unless you want to take the risk of being identified for a hit job by management

Dont trust anyone in upper management at Nike....I cant tell you how many times i saw this kind of garbage go on during my tenure.

What the ELT said about the culture change to the more inclusive and fair, etc...are all lies! All those sounds-good&right things are just empty words.
They violate what they said by doing terrible things to their own employees who don't deserve such treatments.
Such a terrible company!

They don't do anything with the results of those surveys. It's just a waste of your time. I tried to build strategy around the results once, and it went nowhere. The Sr. Leadership didn't care.

Engagement survey! What a joke that thing is. I will not make any difference at all. I hate them. Watch Sr. Directors and even some dump a– directors rounding up employees to "take action" against the results.

I can't imagine anyone giving honest feedback considering the last time the company asked for it they ended up deciding to lay off a ton of employees.

Pro Tip: If you didn't hit the Nike jackpot before Donahoe, you will definitely never hit it now.

My love for Nike is gone. The engagement is off. You can have the ring back. I'm sick of this abusive relationship. It's all transactional now, so just show me the money. If our esteemed ELT can get $1M bonuses at a time like this, then by God they'd better make it rain on those of us who are left picking up the pieces and moving the business forward once this nightmare of a reorg is over.
