I cringe whenever I read something like this. Those days are long gone and I’m sorry if you are waiting for xerox to come through to bridge you to retirement it’s not possible anymore. Company barely has money to pay us.

I’m afraid the times of VRIF have come and gone.
The situation now is much easier to handle with furlough
They don’t have to give anyone any true consideration and simply furlough you until you have to get another job.
Covid has been their type of blessing

You never know ;-) , Xerox might offer VRIF to older higher-paid employees .... all we can do is ask.

The current philosophy is "why would I pay you to leave", as said by my past V-Pe–s The corollary is "after you've given me years of dedicated service, if I treat you like a$$, you'll leave and it won't cost me a dime". (It's the same strategy that is used with customers).

I'm sure one is available for the Executive team.

For the rest of us? See the answers below.

If the package is a boot in the hind end with/by an Italian loafer, maybe.

It's been 3 years since they offered a VRIF, at least that I'm aware of.
