Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Project results from understaffed teams?

I am having a hard time understanding how the projects are supposed to be completed if they keep firing people. EXTRA HOURS WON'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE! The environment is becoming toxic, here come the bad managers to make us work more hours, commit to more than can be handle, and possibly end up hating the place.

This is exactly what I am wondering because it is becoming increasingly difficult to complete projects. Nor do I understand how they think that cost cutting associated with firing people and overworking remaining employees can favourably affect the realisation of projects.

Honeywell executives are just like politicians, they will do or say anything to keep their cushy jobs. Including selling us all down the river.....

Easy... Almost all of the upper leaders today never worked as individual contributors in the last 10 years.

So many new India hires in the past month. Feel sorry for them, takes at least 7-8 months training to work in HON mess. They just show up to meetings and are clueless

Not sure how the company expects to complete projects by hiring a plethora of bottom-level workers with hardly any experience. It is also disheartening to see those that are working long hours not get a raise/promotion while management hires new people and expects those same workers to train them.

Deflation spiral. No revenue, cut staff, no workers so no revenue and low quality, no revenue –> cut staff.
Boost dividend because there is no reason to reinvest in current business...

We are seeing the opposite. Funding is so tight for RDE projects, that domestic staffing is cut short. I’d bet there is another round of layoffs coming soon.
