Thread regarding Dunkin layoffs

There may be an opportunity for new Dunkin' Donuts to open?

For many Dunkin' U.S. franchisees, closing these restaurants will enable them to do greater reinvestment into the brand whether through Next Generation remodels, building new restaurants, or relocating restaurants to higher-traffic areas.

Has anyone read the latest report quoted above: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1357204/000135720420000049/dnkn-ex9912020926xpr.htm

I hope that this change of strategy in response to changing consumer patterns can bring something good. Any thoughts? Anyone??? It is very quiet here.

This was not much of a strategy move but rather Dunkin was asked to leave Speedway network.

Speedway was getting ready for 7-Eleven acquisition and they did not need Dunkin in the mix.

Dunkin PR team presented it in a different way.

Hope it helps.
