Not sure how much the company is impacted by covid 19. I'm not being paid fairly, and my raise is a joke. What about you guys?

Raises are nonexistent. Very hard to reward good employees. Women are held down also. Tired of the boys club mentality. Unfortunately where I work is an industry that’s tapped out. Not easy to find similar jobs at other companies. Now COVID. Very difficult to move on so they have us over a barrel.
The company is not directly impacted by COVID-19 anywhere - 90% of staff can work remotely and those that have to come in are in the manual labour area which hasn't yet been digitised/automated. The raises don't occur as SS&C need to pay-off their debt in a timely manner to retain their credit-rating status to buy the next company and keep shareholders in some reasonable manner.
Also the expansion of our operations in India, Bangkok and China need funding too.
How can we possibly give pay raises all-round?
Bottomline : SS&C is good company to get experience with and move on, if your still there after 4-5 years in the same position then either your too comfortable to accept the situation or in dire need of upskilling but cannot do so.
The company is a farce. Once Covid is over all the health clients are leaving and then 000s more in MO and Alabama are gone.
I got a 1% raise even with a high annual review. pathetic. Been looking for another job that pays what I make or better. Found nothing yet.
Raises don’t exist here. What you come in at is what you top out at unless you apply for higher positions. What you bring to the table does not matter. Management does not want anyone outearning them or passing them. Get out while you can because they will replace you with India when they figure out how to.
Laughable yet you all stay there. Must be desparate or lack desireable skill sets!
lower than inflation.
I guess this is a sad topic that no one wants to talk about.
Hard not to laugh when I was told my raise this year.
