Any good news on being called back for furloughed electricians? I really need to get back sooner than later.

The only thing happening in NLR is that sob G trying his best to sell jenks to a scab shop. MEI will be touring soon. Sounds about par for the sorry company. Bring back furloughed guys to furlough them again and sell the place. And they wonder why so many resigned and they are way deep into call back roster trying to get somebody to say yes. The smart ones will follow suit and leave when they can and don’t bother with a 2 weeks notice cause they dang sure won’t give you one when they furlough again.
Should have paid “A” dues instead of B dues. Then you could go to work in the I.B.E.W on the outside of the railroad.
Junks shop mouse whips and highballs just like everywhere else does
But Metro East does EVERYTHING Jenks does and more.... Maybe they are touring the place this week just to give DS some tips?
North Little Rock just brought back half their staff at jenks, it’s not likely to close because it’s the only back shop on the system. No other location is set up to do the work including the self titled savior of the railroad North Platte. The fleet is falling apart at a rapid pace and they can’t lease enough to replace the locomotives that are failing and they are starting to realize they have to repair the fleet even if it’s a small amount.
Closing permanently by early next year.
I’d start looking at careerlink.com
If your vested into RR retirement, look into other railroads, another of smaller ones still pay into it
You're better than that. Move on from that place. Move if they're no opportunities where you live.
No. You need to find another job.
