Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

Adios Alliance

Looks like it’s curtains for the San Antonio CPC. Not sure what will become of us but the writing is definitely on the wall. Been saying this since Andretta took over and figured it was just a matter of time.

Think Alliance cares about you? Think again. Remember the previous round of layoffs? It will happen again without a second thought.

I spoke up about hypocrisy and racism.. I was in admin and worked for ADS 10 years. Shortly after I spoke up I was let go.. this is a very shady and dark company.

All I know is JF has been gone quite a bit recently. The work is still here but one flip of a switch and its gonna be gone. Already tests being sent to fiserv for verification.

From what I can see ADS is going all out on cost cutting and will continue to downsize to adjust for its fluctuating portfolio. Best jobs to have now would be those focused on bringing in money to the company such as collections especially PS. When times are bad quality debt collectors are going to be a much more valuable asset then normal.

You don’t know that for sure so stop putting negativity in the air. However on the other side of the coin you have to think. Mailing in payments is not the preferred method of account payments now. I wouldn’t be surprised if some associates are reallocated to different positions or let go bc there is no need for such a robust workforce when the majority of cardholders opt in for electronic payments.
