Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

So Stanky was on the board if UPS up until a few days ago

https://example.com/36aeVQ6

"UPS said Stankey is leaving the board to focus on his responsibilities as CEO, a position he was appointed to in July 2020. He'd served on the UPS board since 2014. Abney's time as executive chairman ended in September."

WTF. I guess he figured since the company he was trying to lead was going down the drain, he should quit his part time job at UPS.

I'd love to know how much money he was making as a board member there. Guys like him are everything that's wrong with this country.

UPS is giving Stank a dose of his own medicine. Sorry old white dude, we need to diversify the board. Don’t let the door hit you in the way out.

I’m guessing someone saw the writing on the wall and asked Stanley to leave before he’s canned by T. Of course, asked to leave could be leave now before we kick you off the UPS board.

I'm fairly certain people don't usually resign from a board. I suspect someone realized he doesn't bring them much value so they replaced him.

The article said,

"UPS continued its push toward building a more diverse board of directors with the election of two prominent executives."

So maybe he didn't quit, they might have wanted to replaced him to make a more diverse board. Both are probably true.

It is common for these leaches to be on each other boards. Ratty was on many boards. He was on the board of Boy Scouts of America and rubber stamped policies that triggered them to go into bankruptcy later. Great to know that Ratty had the same performance everywhere.

It is all a big club and they all serve on each other boards. How do I become a member? I guess you have to sell your soul to the devil.

Where the heck do they get time to serve on multiple boards? I am sure he used T planes to fly from board meeting to board meeting, in-between golf outings and going to the Emmy's.
