This is the Hertz way! Promote the incompetent! Its never who is most qualified its who can sing and dance the most to entertain the execs. Good to see nothing has changed.
He’s in Europe because he’s a disaster in America.
Background: he was lucky in US car sales a few years back, taking credit for results that were actually down to the cyclical nature of the market. He was promoted beyond his capability (Janitor) and now no one in the US wants to admit this, so he’s been shoved over to Europe on the pretence he can do something useful.
Be clear about this - he’s a failed car salesman, with the personality and of a piece of mouldy cheese.
You get what you deserve guys. This is one time where he can’t make it any worse, so he’ll probably take credit whenever the world emerges from COVID-19.
