For the life of me I can’t seem to find the motivation I once had working at my club. It’s bad enough that hours are being cut, but the politics being played here are driving me crazy. I don’t even find comfort in helping customers. How does anyone remain motivated while trying to work their shift?

I have a been with Sam's for 34 years. Was the PTC for 14. I am now a backroom associate. Having a hard time unloading DC trucks. I feel like they are trying to get rid of me because of that. I am doing all of claims and dealing with all the damages. What happened when the company Actually cared about us!!? Sam is
Rolling over in his grave!!!! Missing the old Sam's club!!!!!!
I'm doing it for me and mine. Nothing else. Eight hours a day, five days a week, I go there, work, and then go home to my real life.
Remember, if you are not planning on being a manager or going corporate THIS IS NOT YOUR LAST STOP
@yfc+17NBYEYq, amen brother. We don't work for Sam's, any manager, MM, or anyone else. We work for ourselves. Also, you represent your family every time you clock in. Motivation.
20 years and not one time have I ever been motivated by ANYTHING at Sams club. My hungry family motivates me. I like electricity , that motivates me. I have a wife and kid. I am motivated to care for them. Many other things motivate me. But never has sams motivated me.
If working for Sams Club is what gives you motivation, you're wasting your life. Find your real purpose.
