I am one of the effected employees. My last day is the 28th. Me as well as a few of my friends where productive and where all green on the metrics. I just don’t understand what Allstate is doing. The wait times aren’t long, the percentages are horrible. What will happen when we are all gone? They are sending adjusters to do different aspects instead of their specialty.i have been with the company a little while and the past 6 to 8 months they have lost their minds. They are not in reality and it is such a shame. It used to be a great place to work, now I’m almost happy to be leaving because the way it is headed. I also believe this is not the last round of layoffs. India is being trained and I would not be surprised if a lot more jobs go to India and automation.. Just too bad, was a great place now it’s has gone to S@&t.

In my department, they laid off too many people and now they are trying to hire back. LOL. I was laid off and I am NOT applying to keep my work, do double the work, and receive the same pay. Kiss my a– 🤷🏻♀️

American companies need to stop betraying America by sending so many jobs to the third world for borderline slave labor and hiring H1Bs over Americans. These processes don’t “improve diversity” they merely screw over Americans and fuel the ever growing wealth inequality which is now reaching pre-great depression levels. Pure greed under the guise of virtue. America first. Americans first. Save western civilization.

I was RIF too, trust me, we are lucky. I converted around 10 friends and family to the company for their policies, some of which were pretty substantial and they have all canceled because of this. My numbers are not the best but prior to my learning of my layoff they were respectable and I cared about my job and worked until I was done. Now, they've wasted my time and theirs along with the money and time they took to onboard me, and lost at LEAST $20k in revenue, likely more from my circle jumping ship. To the shareholders that support, encourage, and tolerate the kind of behavior going on, just know that on a long enough timeline, the survival rate drops to zero for everyone. One day, you will be worm food and the fancy dinners and vacations, gucci bags or whatever id–tic things you spend your blood money on will not matter. Greed and sloth are sins, and yourselves and this company will eventually face a reckoning.
I hate that you were caught up in this RIF. I have put in my notice to retire and damn happy to do so.
