Disney has been so quick on the trigger when it comes to layoffs that I'm starting to wonder if they plan to keep anybody employed other than those needed to run the streaming service? WHo else thinks they're using this opportunity to get rid of many more people than they actually need to?

I was separated December 4th. I was hired a couple of years ago and was placed on the biggest project the department had going. It was extremely demanding with creeping scope. I worked long hours on a daily basis. The project was completed on time. I wish the management would have placed a tenured employee on the project instead of me, I would have enjoyed taking advantages of disney perks instead of stressing out and working long hours just to be separated.
I worked for disney for 10 years. I worked in the parks. I opened cars land food and beverage. I cant speak for the face characters and entertainment section but what I do know is Disney parks were going more and more automated. They honestly dont need many of the workers they had. Coupled w the unions protecting those jobs and guaranteeing 30 work hours per week, im a firm believer that they indeed used this to their advantage even if they had no part in this global elite backing media pendemic. Disney had a wide range of people working for him, well i mean his company did and One philosophy that The company believes in is no idea is stupid. So im sure they are taking the best ideas as to how to move forward and mitigate losses. More like clotting the massive hemorrhage of money being lost. I dont know specifics but why dont they just take the fines for not adhering to comrade Newsoms order. For a fact disney parks in anaheim was fined nightly for their fireworks display and the noise ordinance law. They just absorbed the cost. They didnt care. I hope this helps. But on a side note the sad truth is prob more like big companies allied w governments sh–ting on the middle class. The 4th industrial revolution has been going on long enough for people to start finding out. Meaning that people w no skills living around these new aged industries Are going to stay jobless if they dont go back to school and get the required training to be part of the workforce in the next 10 years. I dont know what will haopen to those people but you kinda see it now w the homeless population growing bigger every year. These are just my opinions but the world is changing and its better to be ready for it when it hits home. One thing that should never be changed or interpreted to suit ones agenda is our American Constitution. That is the most important piece going forward into a new age. W out that and the rule of law then we might as well start calling each other comrades. Live free or die.
