PepsiCo Speak Up Line

Interesting to see how many posts on here speak to PepsiCo leadership violating confidentiality promise of the Speak Up Line. I was also directly reprimanded and terminated shortly after a submission to the Speak Up Line. Really raises questions about the integrity of leadership values. It is a company that tells people what they want hear. So many senior execs talk a great game about values. Odd there is not one concrete example of these values being upheld when senior leaders are challenged for openly violating them.

So I resigned from the company on Friday, and instead of an exit interview they do an exit SURVEY. The survey is run by a 3rd party and the aggregate results are then sent to the company. So even if you leave the company because of toxic individuals, they will never know about it. It's all such bullsh-t. This company is horrid and gross and I hope everyone gets out ASAP.

Yes Pepsico is the worst place to work for. They give you options that are too hard to contact, a fake email address, and the HR department is worthless!!

Learned speak up is not a safe place, when I did speak up my HR manager found a way to fire me after 17 years. There was no one that could protect you it’s the HR manager. This was back in 2018, I filed a law suit and I found out everyone involved was fired or demoted or set to another city. But I couldn’t continue with the law suit so nothing came of it,Pepsi didn’t contact me………my point is this all stems from a previous speak up and it got me fired. Not even speak up could help me.

@bOwfc+17T1OTfR this is true, but I know a manager who has at least 2 calls about him and he still has a job (warm body in a remote location-that is my guess as to why he still is around)

We someone on our team report to Speak Up that outsourcing vendor performance numbers were being intentionally manipulated in their favour. He was told the next week by the director he would be gone in the next wave. He was. Posting for a friend. Lol

NEVER use speak up.
HR is NOT for employees. It's for the protection of the company against lawsuits or bad press

Don't use it. An associate used it about a general complaint that could've come from one of multiple departments. A manager from another department singled her out about it. No way he could have known it came from her. It was about a practice and not directed at any people.

Pepsi has leaders nowadays who only care about accountability. We used to be a family and now it feels like they want to know what we are doing the entire day. This isn’t a good place anymore. I still
Have a yellow stain in my office when I could smoke in it lol

same goes for the org health survey, it's used to identify disengaged employees based on their responses.

I advised people from my team against going to speak it up to protect them from this happening. People don’t know where to turn to get help from abusive leadership.
