What are the outcomes of a consultation period? You lose your job anyway after 45 days, or there are other possibilities?
In the UK the statutory consultation period for redundancies is 45 days for 100 or more jobs being affected, 30 days for 20 to 100. Not required for less than 20 as it can be done on an individual basis.

GBS had theirs on Tuesday. Scary times. We were told that everyone is in scope. Usually there are some groups that are regularly spared. For us it will be whomever has a low utilisation will be cut no questions asked.

Yes, so same for C&CS. A 45 consultation period is being set up for an employee consultation. The employee consultation committee will start on the 24th November.
Global Markets had their call today in UK - 45 day consultation period for VA. I suspect the C&CS call will be the same
