Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What a perfect timing

They cut more than 1500 employees ahead of the holiday season. You know, the time when it's much harder to find a job as it is, but when you add a pandemic to it... I hope the severance package is at least good enough to help these people get through several months - at minimum - without finding a new job.

I got iced on December 15th 2019.
Luckily I didn't need to find a job but after COBRA expired, the obamacare insurance is high. Based on adjusted growth income. Also my unemployment got reduced as I took my annuity. Be careful grasshoppers and plan your next move wisely.

Which teams were cut? In which side, wireless or wireline?

Gotta unload all those salaries before the end of the quarter in order to cover up for Stinkhole's continual failure!

But hey, that dividend is still there to keep feeding the senior executives and billionaire investors, so cheer up! Losing another 1,500 grunts is a small price to pay so that Stink and his lickspittles can have a bountiful holiday season.

This is the way nwo cesspool att operates. No amedican should enjoy the holidays and we will make sure they don’t.

Laying massive numbers of employees off around the holidays has always been a T specialty, going back to the 90's. Nothing new. Same old toxic environment. Same old Mismanagement. Just a Sh– T Y workplace. Always has been, always will be.

Timing is everything...for AT&T. They could care less if the time is right for you or not. Adios!

This happens every year. Acting like this is something new and unprecedented is laughable. Have you been working under a rock? Complaining about something that is an annual event shows you lack understanding of the business you are employed by. Get over it or move on. This is adult life inside a company that doesn’t pamper its employees. Be an adult and take charge of your life. Move on to a better employer.
