Anyone who thinks they will get a pay raise is delusional. Nothing has changed, the Mike Lawrie regime showed that it considers employees replaceable cogs in a machine. Just an expense to be minimized. The thinking continues.
Unlikely for the grunts on the ground to ever get a pay rise or promotion at DXC.
CFO is an important position, not like a dead would position who just needs to push pens and create unnecessary tasks and useless bright ideas to stay in post.
If this guy is on the ball he will be announcing a profit share/share scheme soon to get all the employees on board, not just the deadwood executive milkers.
Hopefully the pay raises can be announced in January and implemented by Feb/March.
They have money in the budget to hire a new CFO and not promote from within, but no money in the budget to give the rank and file rasies now. We have to wait again till March and then of course something will change and it will be pushed back again
Though he does have CSC experience.
Hopefully his Ken "Sharp" enough to turn it around.
I think deadwood would struggle in a key role like this which actually needs some valid outputs, accountability, and have to report to wall street.
