I tried to warn the Arizona people... Get ready, it is going to get a lot worse. PDX will be a catastrophe with TD and R&D are cut back, and Intel admits its major failures on technology development... I'm not happy about this; I'm just trying to wake up employees that don't read the news.

Sending more jobs to India. CEO is trying to make sure he gets his $70M bonus next year. Shame on Intel for laying off people right before holiday while the CEO cashes in $70M in bonuses. b–tardS.

I was in the 2015 diversity cost saving separation. Life is much better now. Better pay, WAY better benefit. Its a big shock at first but once you land your next job you be much happier. Working for Intel is a temp commitment as they are always looking for ways to lay you off and then turn around and hire 20K more. Hang in there now.

I was let go almost two years ago, the job I was doing was very beloved to me, really felt what am I going to do now? Trust me, it's good that they let me go - I got a better paying job with a peace of mind and respect than what I was doing there.
So don't be disheartened, everyone will get a job in a month or two. Once you get an offer from somewhere else go on a vacation with your family to Europe, call it severance vacation package.
I bought a brand new car and a vacation trip in that package.

im in AZ too and 3 yrs ago in september I left. It felt absolutely fantastic to leave that shameful IT group with all of the brown nosing that permeated from that place. now i work where theres mutual respect across most all team members. i took the early retirement...couldnt stand it to wait one more year for the full ...half joke package versus a full joke package.
