Any rumors how the branches will be affected by layoffs? 2019 layoffs affected some branches but not all.

I could see regional virtual branches staffed with CRSs & maybe AFCs for walk-ins but no assigned FC offices - instead working on a reservation system when an in-person visit is required. But this year has proven that business continues via Webex in lieu of in-person meetings.
My reasonable guess is that a lot will depend on how they can negotiate the leases, that’ll help decide if they want to keep the TD or Schwab branch office when they’re nearby. And, they’ll probably gut a lot of the smaller branches
My medium term prediction is that the branch network is completely gone in 5-10 years, Schwab can use the independent branches but almost everything will be done online
