Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The month that keeps on giving

First Elliott Management says 'no, thank you' to us - which is a smart move for them but not so good for us when investors run for the hills - and now John Stephens suddenly decides it's time for him to 'retire.' The way things are going, we might be looking at a major shakeup at the top in the next few days or weeks.

Now sending Biry to TW as CFO. Part of their diversity BS to promote unqualified minorities including women. After 50 years of affirmative action and diversity focus we need to give up and implement meritocracy- you earn your way regardless of race, s-x, nationality, etc

Who cares what happens in the executive suite , no one here has any control over how the marbles fall. Ultimately it's always going to come down to profit maximization and where ever you are in the org and how vAluable your group is or is perceived is all that will matter

If you have been at T less than 15 years, get out. If you have more than 15 get a good shrink.
