Unbearable Episodes

Tried to watch these "conversations" the company has on social media outlets like Linkedin and its just unbearable. Watching these people is cringeworthy and embarrassing mainly because they just seem clueless and talking out of their you know what and they are supposed to be the experts SMH. You guys want to see wasted time and money....tune in to these 'episodes' to watch it live LOL

Wait till the 3rd Quarter results are published. Then the call with scripted chosen questions.

Now that will be unbearable

The only thing that would make them worse is if you had episodes of Segway Rid’n.

Whether they are bad or they are good, right now they are absolutely tone deaf.

The worst thing to watch, actually can’t finish watching, it’s just bad...every single one of them! I promise there used to be people that actually knew what they were saying but sadly they are gone and so is this company. Things brings nothing to the table guys. Stop listening to the narcissistic CMO (no doubt it’s coming from him) and do something different to better this company.

Sadly the LinkedIn stuff is getting out of control. We're constantly hounded by Marketing to post and share content, but I've never heard of a customer reaching out based on these efforts. It'd be one thing if we were bored, but we're doing the jobs of multiple people! It seems like the same international folks always respond to those ads, asking if we're hiring. ;-(

Should pay more attention to what shareholders and Hedge Funds are doing. They are simply pulling the plug on big investments with NOV. This weeks share price is says it all, nearly lower to the lowest point since March when COVID was at its peak. We should be looking at recovery not a retrace.

This morning was a prime example. You have the #Ask Asinine show with the Voice and some Ops guy from Rig Tech. They throw softball questions at these 'intellectual masterminds' and you get crickets and quick handoffs to the pompous rig dude who we all know is the stach's lap dogg. He gives horrible non-answer explanations and the other two are in awe, wow, awesome, amazement mode....LOL REALLY!?! Too funny.

NOV marketing at its finest... no real knowledge of which products are truly relevant in this environment, so it becomes a pitch that fades into nothing. And don’t get me started on the other “show” where a guy takes whatever he can understand (or thinks that he can, anyway) from other people’s articles and regurgitates it with the confidence of Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy.

I agree. I'm just curious how these videos and podcasts actually help generate revenue and sales. Are there companies sitting around watching this and thinking to themselves, "You know what!? Times are tough and lean but that guy with the voice asking that question and the extremely vague answer makes me want to spend money on (insert inane subject)."
