Had some kid today take a red sharpie and add the word "Not" to our "face mask required" sign at the mall entrance. Ironic life hack, all you need is a little hand sanitizer on a paper towel to remove sharpie. But anyhow, the kid is right. Face Masks are not required. No one is allowed to really enforce this rule. Macy's cares more about bad PR than health and safety. Despicable.

I won't wait on the if they don't have a mask. If it is under their nose, I say"I'd be happy to help you if you pull up your mask".
Our CEO is too busy using our company as a media platform to support social causes that are divisive and driving many pro right customers to shop elsewhere. Of course, many of these people are also against mask wearing, so in a way he is helping to keep those who don't believe in masks out of stores. Of course, many of these customers just come in to complain about the how our company is supporting political causes, which adds to an already stressful environment at store level when trying to address the mask-less customers in our buildings. As I stated in an earlier post: SAFETY IS ALL FOR SHOW. Macy's supplies deficient (cheap) masks to it's workers to "comply" with guidelines. The issued masks don't adequately sit high enough on the bridge of the nose nor sufficiently wrap under the chin for protection. Macy's installs plexiglass shields to protect metal registers but leaves the rest of the wrap stands and it's workers with no protection standing between them and the customers. Managers walk past mask-less customers and say NOTHING. The fitting rooms are NOT cleaned the way they are advertised to the customers. We have employees who are cleaning "high-touch" surfaces throughout the store, while the CDC has stated, without question, that the main way COVID-19 is transmitted is through the AIR, NOT ON SURFACES!!!!
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD: WILL THIS COMPANY GET IT AND ACTUALLY PROTECT ITS WORKERS BEFORE MAJOR INFECTIONS START BREAKING OUT. IT'S SICKENING.
