It must've been all those expensive instagram ads. Way to spend your money wisely, advertisements over people.

I agree, Crown is not the same, I worked for crown for 5 years, never see this bad management. They call you in a meeting and after meeting they lock down your computer. No notice or no review. This is what happening to full time employee. B3s are out the window and we lost them from the top down. If you are not good with your manager then you are out. Trust is hard enough to earn but to get it back almost impossible.

This comment is directed to the contractor that was recently let go.

I was a contractor at CCI and was laid off a year ago. You're right, as a contractor there you are absolutely treated as a second class citizen. It's very demoralizing.

Think of this as a blessing in disguise. You probably would have never been promoted to full time and you wouldn't have the job security that you deserve.

I'm at FTE somewhere else now and better for it. Best to you, I'm sure you'll be fine!

Those ‘contractors’ have lives too. 2nd class lives basically according to the company.

I hate our capitalistic culture where in corporate America you can wake up one day and lose your job without notice. We were told as contractors, we had until December 31st on the morning of 11/19. That afternoon the temp agency told us not to log in tomorrow.

I’m thankful for the opportunity, and thankful they kept most of us on during this virus. But I am very disappointed in the way they carried out those layoffs. Not a month, week, or even days notice. Shame on you Crown Castle. You’re playing with people’s lives.

The Az people were key players. Has there been a change in direction as far as scope of work? I know they just signed with Dish Network for 20,000 towers

Transparency are you serious!! EMT grow up and stop letting this happen! We have been told for the last 2 years we are being transparent.....😆😆😆 I want some of those transparency glasses. It might make me see my future at Crown differently as I wa laid off today!
the people you laid off today know why!! You have all been hidden for months as the layoffs continue!! Some leadership! I use to respect you all but now its all all mighty dollar!

The majority today 11/19 were contractors on the fiber side. Mostly South Florida. SDS was surprisingly left unscathed. Meeting tomorrow morning to probably announce more cuts.

Crown Castle has not been replacing many individuals who have left the organization the last several months. I believe you are going to see more layoff's soon as the 3rd quarter revenue projections look to be way down. The fiber group grew too fast, brought in a lousy sales mgt team and then Covid hit, add in Elliott Mgt Group showing Jim Young the door and wanting to spin off the Fiber Group equals more employees being cut.
