If I were to go to my manager and ask for more work, he would not know what to do. Nap time!

Yup. They are laying people off in Surplus Lines , Private Client Select, etc. Ya you get the severance and if your lucky, get the bonus. It s—s when you are RIFed, but it was a blessing for my spouse. What a sh– show company.

Every time I see a post about “layoffs”..... I can’t help but think about that time Jim Mora coach of Colts, is asked about the “playoffs “. Will PZ react in the same way if he gets asked about layoffs....

The move of hundreds of employees to Accenture is a major clue as to the direction of AIG. This move is not a long term solution for a company trying to set itself up for long term profitability.

@Brian's hammeriods - You said it correctly. I was working this morning since there is no one else to do my work....it will just stack up and Monday will be heck if I don't keep up.
I do not trust anything coming from management and yes, we will be gone in the Americas in time.

it is clear that gi is winding down despite the aig200 propaganda. if you work in gi you will be sold or run off in the next couple of years. execs are trying to make the companies that are salvageable more attractive to potential buyer. every thing else if just damage control until they say bye bye to your division. good luck.

Mental health day. Created more stress trying to get Friday deliverables done by end of day yesterday. And many bosses said they expected their people to officially take the day off but unofficially keep working, especially in IT, where AIG200 is a dumpster fire. Major efforts missing dates, turf battles among overpaid execs with little experience at AIG, and low morale among workforce that knows most will be riffed in next couple of years.

Reach out to your manager and ask for more work. lmao...….if you are working remotely like most people and you work more than 4 hours a day you are a complete mo–n.

BD is sitting on a beach in Bermuda making $20M a year to work on his tan. You should do the same.

I find it difficult to beleive you have so little to do. Have you reached out to your manager and offered to assist others?

Another day, nothing to do. Nap in the morning and now I am having a long lunch after I workout. The day ends at 2:30. I will need a glass of wine by then.

The reason we had Friday off is they love us!

Is it that BD and PZ feel a little guilty screwing over 99.9% of the employees while they loot the company......nah what was I thinking

I am sure each pay week you will see some layoffs...
