Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

ExxonMobil is a ‘good’ company

Unfortunately the scaling of the word ‘Good’ should be the one sold by Consulting Company to HR department. It means it is below average.

For outsider you need to find the internal ExxonMobil dictionary to translate standard words.
Very Good means ‘average’.
So if you read a communication with ‘very good performance’ (for example for financial results) it means average.

They should have just made the assessment categories: “good”; “gooder”; “almost goodest”; “goodest”; “double dog goodest”
