Not inherited from an acquisition. Remember when encrypted analytics popped up overnight and they started the ad campaign with the guy from Game of Thrones? That’s when the turned on the stolen technology.

Looks like “Encrypted Traffic Analytics” is the functionality in question.

Check this out: "The infringing functionality was added to their accused products post June 20, 2017, and resulted in a dramatic increase in sales which Cisco touted in both technical and marketing documents," he added.

This is big, is it from a acquired company cisco inherited this. is this reason for the $1 billion cost reduction and layoffs happening now. the case has been on for over 3 months
