hey folks I was age wise eligible for the ER (early retirement) however my IPF was better than 1.45 and thus I was not offered. What is the word about chances of such people being LR candidates ?

Your IPF got you to the front of the queue.
Good luck.
As it stands I was one of the first one to get the call that I was on LR list so much for the outsanding performance number :) Sh– happens
If your BU is not making money, your immediate group can still be eliminated, especially those satellite sites that has to report to SJC mothership.
I think it's safe that if they wouldn't let you go with an ER, they don't want you to go! Best of luck!

1) One would assume your goal was to try to comfort the OP and insult them at the same time?
2) you answer with great certainty without any idea of the OP's position, seniority, etc. or in other words, you take a completely uninformed guess.
3) you make assumptions about the OP's emotional state. I did not see anything that would lead one to think OP was "freaked out".
OP. best of luck tomorrow. you whould respond near COB tomorrow to let us know your status.
Suggest you spend your time doing your job rather being on this site. Your IPF may get lowered if you don’t do your job.
FYI - I’m doing my job. First day of retirement after taking the CEP. Did my walk and weight training, got my flu shot and now having a nice lunch while being truly grateful I’m not involved in all this LR b.s.
Enjoy!
Almost zero in my opinion, you seem to be the kind of person who freaks out for no reason.
