Heard a rumor that Macon got Hit yesterday. Is there any truth to the fact that they already started transferring equipment to Atlanta in anticipation for the shutdown?

I don't see it working efficiently. The carrier will make it work, just not very good. The management will cook the books to make it look like its all that and a bag of chips. Smoke and Mirrors, all it'll be.
they tried flat switching the other day and nearly tore the yard to pieces. 40 or so cars broke loose and went back in the class yard at around 20 mph.
I can't answer your specific question, but I did hear from a member of managment today that the Macon Hump will be idled November 1. So the rumor you heard may be true.
