Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Shhhh! Everybody quiet down now and pay attention. Steve-O from the Tech Power House is talking!

Some really insightful sudistics (sic) here. Shame there was n't a comments section: Does the 50% of workers not back in the xerox office include those on endless furlough? Are other "Tech Power Houses" like Shopify, Facebook, Microsoft super enthusiastic about being referenced in a Xerox fluff piece?

Motley Fool recently referred to IBM as an embattled tech relic. Where does that put Xerox in comparison?

My gosh. He is the one responsible for HCL at Xerox. He doesn’t seem to understand he is an a-hole. Does anyone one they reach that level, and does the job make you one?

Xerox is not in business to be a powerhouse for the future, Xerox is in business to get the stock price up to a level where Icahn can sell it for a profit. Then it'll most likely be broken up and sold off or acquired.

No why would you think that X will actually instill that kind of culture? Its on the internet so it must be true. As long as we say it, means we don't actually have to do it. Look at who X has running the company. When the executives, like Steve-O, all have a track record of coming from failing companies. X has all these senior leaders that are the outcasts from otherwise failing companies. Companies shrinking or mis-stepping in their own industries. Yet, lets bring them on at X. Does X have one exec from a respected company? Steve-O was around for the demise of DHL and Lenovo, when Nortel went Bankrupt. Avaya went bankrupt after he left and then spent some time at the mighty HP. Maybe this was a strategic hire for Xerox's operations to follow suit or maybe it was the only resume they received for the position?

Thin as the ipad it was written on - we get it you want customers to go back to work and print stuff. Hilarious and stomach turning that Xerox presents itself as some sort of authority. My retired parents found this article really interesting.
