disney employees are being taken care of. Disney Management cares and their employees will have a Christmas. I will be lucky to have a home to live in for Christmas. No Christmas for us.

Woulda - Coulda - Shoulda
We're all in a similar boat. We didn't look for other opportunities because we liked what we did, were comfortable where we were, and we were pretending the old values and principles were in place.
We made our own choices and have to deal with the consequences. We all choose which priorities lead our decision making process. We all chose to work at SeaWorld.
While we didn't choose to leave, but we choose where we go from here.
I chose to not look for another job while furloughed because I believed I'd be going back to work. That's totally on me. The writing was on the wall... right in front of us all. There's work out there for us all... maybe not what we want, but we have to start somewhere.
I would have had a pension. Bigger 401K, and wouldn't have been let go. Did you see the news tonight? Or, I would have retirement benefits
Saying you should have left one theme park company and put time in another is big brain thinking.
How about aiming a bit higher and thinking outside hospitality altogether?
