Those getting LR’ed tomorrow need to stick around tomOct 30th to get severance. Looks like Cisco is going to have thousands declining meeting invites and doing nothing for the next three weeks.

Cisco is preparing to acquire new companies and startups. They have to get rid of older business units and functions. It’s a natural corporate phenomenon.
Why would you care what people without a job do until October 30th? Not everyone is an a hol3 most of us wish everyone the best even if I am one of the affected or not.

layoffs have been non-stop since 2010... not since june
most dysfunctional employee reduction program ever... it has been going on since june. almost as if someone is trying to intentionally tank the company
