Perfect timing! Usually the managers just leave the LR decisions until the morning of. Like at 8 or 9am, they get together and decide who to layoff on the day that's been in the calendar for months. So, your timing is good. Shoot them an email right now just in case they haven't filled the list out yet, but be sure to mark it "urgent" so they see it in time. Good luck with your request. I'm sure it will go through no issues.

I don't think so. one of my team mates asked and told no. Next cut they will have much smaller benefits, so company doing in phases till they get acquired by someone like HP, as someone told this is going down Nortel route
