I know contractors are always the first on the chopping block, but still unpleasant when the axe falls. No package, of course, just a conversation with the recruiters to hopefully find somewhere else before the quarter ends.

No, not a deep thought, just joining in on the commentary about folks getting shown the door. We may not be officially on payroll, but we contribute to Cisco's development the same as blue badges and are the first to get cut when Cisco wants to delete $1B worth of headcount.
