Thread regarding Avis Budget Group Inc. layoffs

ABG is just one of the thousands of companies who treat their employees like the bottom of their shoes. BWI location is one of the worst in the nation. From the Regional to the District managers, they look out for #1. FCK the ones who actually run the company, which would be the hard working, unappreciated, unsupported, employees!! I would say the one thing ABG has taught me, is to speak up for what you want, and if you can't get it there, learn all you can, and move on and start you own business. Use them, as they use us, their employees!! Please do not refer this POS company to your family and friends, even to your worst enemy!! FCK ABG!!

How exactly do you expect Avis to pay you? Thankfully they haven't gone bankrupt. But, for real, take the emotion out of it and be objective. The company has to do what it has to do to stay afloat. You shouldn't take it personally. Thankfully, I was laid off, but I would not have stayed anyways.

yup, glad I was able to leave there with my severance package because now I am hearing they are no longer offering that and if you are furloughed you no longer can accumulate PTO. They shafted a lot of people and it is just a matter of time when it will completely collapse.

ABG has done this to people for a LONG time. I’ve worked almost 20 years here and nothing surprises me anymore. The true lack of compassion for employees, pandemic or not is horrible.
You are just a number and the worst employees seem to never be fired or let go but instead are promoted. Good luck to all of us
