I truly wish the good people of Pioneer all the best that did not get a package, if PNR sales then that is what is in Gods and maybe it will turn out okay for most of you making that transition. Rumors of a sale have been talked about for years honestly who knows really? Only the people up top. Just save your money pay things off and be ready is all you can do.
The way the layoff was done was totally petty lol managers at the B/U saying nooooo we no nothing all while plotting behind your back. Heck I was asked to let go of one of my guys and stated he was doing well we need to keep him so they laid us both off lol. Then kept all contractors and multiple others with way less knowledge and skills and education. No hard feelings but I'm still shocked of the nepotism, and my kid plays on your kids team and favorites. Some management even went as far as to act as if we were family lol learn things about you and use it against you.
Be glad you are gone, if this is a place people can vent let them vent It is hurting no one my opinion.

I guess the details on how your career got ruined does not really matter, and I wrote mine in an earlier thread, and got some great comments back. What would be hurtful if this occurred early in your career and it takes a awhile to bounce back financially and emotionally. I am sure there is a very special place in hell for the HRs and the LEGAL BEAGLES that implemented the directives from above. If they are even half human and that is a "BIG IF", it will crush their very soul knowing what they did to their friends and fellow workers. The future personal success story for YOU is to get up and dust yourself off and go forward creating more friends, wealth and help build a new company that will be around and that cares of its employees, THAT WILL BE SOUL LIBERATING. In a very short time you will be able to look back and say, "PIONEER WHO"

Not only was it petty but, darn right disrespectful. Guys stayed in positions while others either got demoted or shipped out. And no one tells the truth I’m a grown individual I’d rather you shoot straight at the hip than lie to my face could respect that. But I expect nothing different if you can cheat your way up by all means have fun with that. Hard work doesn’t pay off it’s who kisses the most a$$ here.
