Where are people who have been impacted applying for new jobs? I've looked around, and every bank has had a major layoff or two in the past six months. Most of them are not hiring right now and even if they do, chances are they'll have more layoffs sometime soon, and I'm guessing the new hires will be the first to go. So what can we do?

Go to a credit union
Leave retail banking. Even before this pandemic, it was not a secret that banks are going digital. Brick and mortar branches were closing. If you have 20+ years in your career, start planning a career change.
