The all hands email said and invited all departments to watch.
Those of us who have been around for any length of time know that a meeting on a Monday is NOT a good thing. Busiest day of the work week. Claims announcement was a Monday to inform which day of that week you would know your assessment results. Will be the same for whatever departments are invited for Monday’s call and next steps to further reduce staff.
People are surprised because a monthly meeting is being scheduled monthly? Ok.

I heard a rumor that they were going to announce double bonuses and tripling the pool for paradises for everyone who remains, in order to compensate for the disruption.
I'll be disappointed if it's not true.
I'm so happy I'm leaving this place! This has to be the longest October and November ever waiting to get paid out. Now that I know I'm gone (which was my wish from the beginning) it's hard coming "into the office" in the mornings. Good luck to my coworkers left behind! Sayanora s—ers!
