I haven't heard anything, but I'm still worried that we are due another round of layoffs before the end of the year. Am I way off base here?

There were some layoffs in digital operations yesterday, US FTEs. I think if you didn't get a call you are safe until the next round
Listen, we all know Hans is all about cutting cost. He did it with Sony Ericson and he's doing it with Verizon. Verizon has made so much money having people work from home but its never enough. No one is safe. Appreciate what you have though. Don't get lost in the sauce and be sour. This is America. You can do or be anything you want if your dedicated and passionate enough. Let's be honest, most don't like working for Verizon these days. Change it. Be the change you desire or stop complaining about the changes you hate. Be grateful.
Why are people so negative in life, sitting around waiting for the sky to fall... there are better things to do in life. If you are concerned about getting laid off maybe you need to find another job.

I think it will depend a lot on how well the iPhone launch goes. Also, I have learned leadership usually try’s to keep top performers. So be a top performer both in sales and teamwork. Make yourself indispensable.
